Schlepp`s Family in Belmont

If you’re looking for a burger in this town- go to the McDonald’s across the street. Burger was so over cooked, no seasonings, no love in the burger. Service was rude and slow. Also how awkward to sit in a place and be able to hear yourself breathe, no music, no laughing, talking. Silent, dead, depressing, would not recommend. Seriously though- how do you mess up a burger?

What!!!! Plan your trip down 70 around this restaurant. Very small town authentic diner. Saturday before noon filled with locals and regulars. Seat yourself. Had breakfast, ordered breakfast sandwich double egg on "home made" bread with cheese and sausage. Huge and yummy. All other food being served looked great bugers, soups, and cinnamon rolls. We decided to take a cinnamon roll for the road. Service was friendly and wait moderate and well worth it. A gem.

A great spot to stop after cruising down the road for several hours. The baked potato was loaded to the brim and the burger was cooked perfect. I def stop in again on my return trip.

The best tasting French fry and chicken salad. We came from Green Ohio to the Barnesville pumpkin fest. We stayed in Days Inn 8 miles away in Belmont where we found the nice dinner.

Ordered a Schlepp's Burger and onion rings at 2 PM and was served really quick. Good food fast! Fresh lettuce and tomato for toppings with Thousand Island dressing for a great flavor on the burger. Fair portion of onion rings served but we're a tad greasy, but hey they were deep fried. Ordered a sweet tea and topped off with coconut cream pie. Total check came to $22.81! Two of us left satisfied and enjoyed the family setting.

Classic American diner with great breakfast and lunch options. Omlettes, hash browns, patty melts, fish sandwiches, along with many pie options, especially fruit pies of all kinds.

First visit here, pretty much run of the mill diner. Had the vegetable soup and grilled cheese. Soup had no or very little spices in it, pretty much no taste just a bowl of vegetables. Grilled cheese was good. Service and price was good. I would visit again to try something different.

Just some good ol down home cooking, been visiting this place for many many years.

Food is what you would expect from a dinner. Too large of a menu which means lots of things are from frozen and not fresh. Its prepared properly and always seasoned well. I recommend breakfast!

Amazing food ... great atmosphere... they have homemade bread they use for their sandwiches the bacon grilled cheese was so good tons of bacon .... yum hubby had the club sandwich it was great one of the best he ever had ... will stop again ...

I got a steak hoagie and fries and was disappointed in the portion size of the hoagie. The sandwich had good flavor but did not have any peppers and onions on it as described in description. As for the portion, the 6in bun was split in two and the one half had ONLY A bite of steak on it. The other half had a bit more steak on it, but not much. The fries were very good and not as greasy as what they were in the past, which was good. Overall, it had good taste but I was displeased with a $9 sandwich that was terribly small at first glance and barely had any meat on it. The steak hoagie left a lot to be desired, especially meat and a bit larger portion size.

I love eating here! This restuarant has a classic vibe to it. Their homemade bread is good, and they serve a fantastic chocolate lava fudge cake! If you have not eaten here before, I reccomend you try it!

Had to go with wife to Bethesda.After she got done we stopped for a great lunch at Schlepps. The hot meatloaf on homemade bread and mashed potatoes smothered in brown gravy made a great lunch. Had to bring part of mine home with me.The wife had the hot roast beef on homemade bread and fries with gravy made her afternoon.Now I dont have to go home and fix lunch.Service was great and food was hot. Even though right off the 208 exit they have still kept their family friendly atmosphere. A good gathering point for friends having lunch together.We have not been there in 2 years and they have not changed.

We came here to eat after a long day at Barkcamp. We were just looking for something filling. Ended up with one of the best diner meals we've ever had. Portions were huge, everything was fresh, and it was delicious. And the people were super friendly. I love when the local patrons treat you like family

It's everything you would want in a roadside diner. The food was delicious, fresh, homemade right down to desert, very generous servings. The service was great, when my 4 year old granddaughter asked for a cherry for her ice cream the waitress turned around and got it for her. I was impressed. If we didn't live in Michigan we would be frequent patrons.
